East Grand Rapids Public Schools is pleased to offer Three (new this year) and Four-Year-Old Preschool! These programs nurture the child's intellectual, emotional, social, and physical growth. Our philosophy is that each child is unique and we strive to differentiate our curriculum to meet individual needs.
Our curriculum and assessments are aligned with EGR's Young Fives and Kindergarten curriculum. Preschool and early elementary teachers meet regularly to discuss curriculum, assessments, and
programs that will best meet the needs of the whole child. Zoo-phonics and Handwriting without Tears
are implemented throughout the year. Enrichment activities in the areas of music and Spanish, as well
as educational field trips, also occur during the school year.
The preschool program is in session approximately 38 weeks and follows the EGR school district calendar. Please click on the brochure link below for information on the sessions available and tuition. Child Care options are also available starting at the age of two years - nine months.
Feel free to stop by the office between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to visit our school. We are located in the James E. Morse Administration Center at Woodcliff, 2915 Hall Street SE (corner of Lake Drive and Hall). Please enter at the Preschool & Child Care entrance (parking lot behind the playground).
