Fast ForWord, is product by Scientific learning and has been created to support and strengthen the literacy skills of identified students in preparation for middle school classes. Fast ForWord is an intervention strategy that builds processing skills needed for reading and comprehension. Research on this program shows that in order to make significant progress students must participate daily for one class period for 12 weeks. We will design a schedule where a student will attend Fast ForWord on a rotating basis during their elective time. Classes will have a maximum of five students.
