Elementary E-Learning Days

During an E-Learning Day, an elementary student will follow a set schedule of both synchronous and asynchronous learning with their classroom teacher. The schedule will reflect that of the traditional school day for an elementary student. A student continues to have Specials one half-day per week. Academic times are adjusted on Specials day.Attendance is required, recorded, and monitored on E-Learning days. Parents/Guardians should report student absences from virtual instruction in the Skyward Family Access system. Student  work will be assessed in a timely manner, and constructive qualitative and quantitative feedback will be given by the teacher. Report cards are issued.

*Student work time during “Synchronous/Asynchronous” instruction includes a combination of small group instruction with the teacher and independent work.
 

Secondary E-Learning Days

Students follow their normal school day schedule, just at home. During the first part of each class period teachers conduct synchronous instructional sessions via Zoom and Canvas which may include direct instruction, application time, small group work, or other instructional approaches Teachers will be synchronously available to support students during this time period. High school students have lunch either 4th or 5th period.  Attendance is required, recorded, and monitored on E-Learning days. Parents/Guardians should report student absences from a virtual class in the Skyward Family Access system. Student work will be assessed in a timely manner, and constructive qualitative and quantitative feedback will be given by the teacher. Grades and report cards will be issued.
