Physical Education and Health

Physical Education and Health focuses on inspiring and empowering every student to lead a healthy, active lifestyle through engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons. We are committed to fostering a positive and supportive environment where students can develop physical skills, build confidence, and embrace lifelong fitness habits. By promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth, we aim to equip our students with the knowledge and enthusiasm to make informed choices about their physical well-being, contributing to their overall success and happiness in school and beyond.

Our K-12 Physical Education program aligns with state standards to promote student health and well-being. We emphasize physical fitness, motor skills, and healthy lifestyle choices through the K-12 Physical Education Standards. In Health Education, our K-8 curriculum focuses on nutrition, personal health, and safety following Grade Level Content Expectations (GLCEs). Through these resources, our program aims to develop physically literate individuals committed to lifelong physical activity and healthy living.
