Empowering students to get interested in STEAM
The district’s first-ever Community STEAM night showcased the science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics talents of students in grades 6-12.
The science-fair-style event, which took place at East Grand Rapids High School, featured displays and presentations from the middle-school and high-school robotics and Science Olympiad teams, the high school’s Gone Boarding, theater tech, photography and pottery classes, and more.
