Non-Resident (Section 6) Enrollment

East Grand Rapids Public Schools (EGRPS) offers a Non-Resident (Section 6) Enrollment option for qualified middle school and high school students.

This program is for Incoming 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th*, and 12th* grade students.
*11th and 12th grade accepted on a case-by-case basis

Non-Resident (Section 6) Enrollment Applications for the 2026-2027 school year will be accepted Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., beginning April 13, 2026, through August 7, 2026.**

Applications must be submitted at the James E. Morse Administration Center, 2915 Hall St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49506. Please call the Registrar at 616-235-3535 x1 if you need to arrange an appointment outside of regular office hours. 

Please note: For all applicants other than kindergarten, a discipline report listing no or any discipline incidences from the student's current schools' Student Information System is required to accompany your application.
