As soon as we are able to utilize more of the grass area, we will be allowing parents at pick up time to remain on the playground for a 15 minute window. I will keep families posted as to when this will be! Thank you for your patience.

Our lost and found items are donated over the each school break (December, February, April) unless there was a name on the items. Please be sure to take a look at the lost and found periodically to ensure your child's items are accounted for. Labeling all items is very helpful as we do try our best to return items found to the right student/class in a timely manner. We also donate items prior to Camp East beginning.

We kindly ask that parents refrain from parking along the tree line and wood chips. Parking in this area makes it difficult for others to park or safely enter and/or back out of the handicap and center spots. We understand that this is a busy time and parking can be limited, but we appreciate your mindfulness and cooperation in keeping all parking areas accessible for everyone and being mindful of the landscaping.

Students enrolled at WECC are expected to be fully potty trained. Consistent toileting readiness is required for participation in the program.

If your child soils their clothing and/or has multiple accidents consistently we will be calling to ask that a parent or guardian come to change them. Per our license with the State of Michigan we are not licensed to diaper or consistently change a child, unless your child has a specific plan with us.

Please note that if your child has an occasional accident or needs assistance in changing do to a spill or getting dirty from outside play, we are happy to change them and ensure that they are comfortable.

We appreciate your partnership in supporting bathroom independence and success for all of our students.
