We are excited to open registration for enrollment of students in kindergarten for the 2021-2022 school year who will be part of the EGRPS graduating class of 2034.
We encourage you to complete the Kindergarten Intent-to-Enroll Form and submit one utility bill as proof of residency so that we can ensure accurate kindergarten enrollment projections. Toward the end of April 2021, we will email the official Enrollment Form with a request for additional required documentation at that time.
Please note: The State of Michigan requires all children to be five years of age on or before September 1st in order to be eligible for next year's class. If you request to enroll your child in Kindergarten for the 2021-2022 school year, and your child will not be five years of age on or before September 1, 2021, but will turn five years of age not later than December 1, 2021, you must also complete a Kindergarten Enrollment Waiver Request Form.
Dental Assessment (NEW FOR THE 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR): House Bill No. 4223
, effective March 29, 2021, requires parents/guardians to provide proof of a dental oral assessment that took place not earlier than 6 months before the date of the child’s registration for the first time in kindergarten or first grade. The proof of assessment must be received before the first day of school on August 23, 2021.
UPDATE: As of 3/18/2021, the Dental Oral Assessment Requirement has been amended to take effect starting in the 2022-2023 school year.
Hearing & Vision Screening: Parents/Guardians must provide proof of hearing & vision screenings during registration but no later than the first day of school on August 23, 2021.
