Education Town Hall Meeting with State Representatives and Senators. The EGRPS Legislative Committee invites you to bring your questions and comments regarding all of the challenges related to K-12 education in Michigan. Local State Representatives and Senators will be here and Superintendent Shubel will moderate the discussion. This meeting will take place on Monday, Feburary8th at 7pm in the High School Little Auditorium.

MLK Celebration. Over 3000 EGR students and several hundred staff members and parent volunteers celebrated the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., on January 18, at EGRHS. The all-district event included guest speaker, Marvin Blanks, who performed Dr. King's I Have a Dream speech in its entirety. WZZM-13 News, The Power of One, as sung by EGR K-12 students

CONGRATULATIONS to Dave Ghareeb, EGRHS teacher and Boys Varsity Golf Coach who has been
named 2009 National Coach of the Year by the 2009 NFHS Coaches Association, the official professional
organization for coaches of the National Federation of State High School Associations.
